Barnie Page (b. 1988) is a curator and consultant with 10 years experience of working with artists and galleries. He is committed to supporting emerging artistic talent, the ecosystem that exists around it, and accessibility to cultural engagement.
He is the co-founder of Desktop Residency, an online exhibition platform; Sacred Thing, an online concept store that collaborates with artists to produce limited edition sculptures; and The Road, an artist-centred art advisory practice.
Other projects that he has instigated include: Dream Art Fair, Barnie’s Gallery, Jupiter Woods and B.C. (Baz and Chaz). The thread that runs through all of his work is an ongoing experimentation with exhibition formats, always with a focus on access.
He is currently working independently as an art consultant to corporate and private clients. Previous employers include Soho House & Co, Limoncello Gallery, Ryan Gander’s Studio and Bold Tendencies.
He received his MFA in Curating from Goldsmiths, University of London in 2015 and his BA in Illustration from the University of Brighton in 2010.
